Monstera Deliciosa
Monstera Deliciosa is known for its large glossy leaves with iconic natural splits. It brings a lush and tropical feel to any interior and becomes more sculptural as it matures.
This plant grows as a natural climber. Supporting it with a moss pole encourages larger, more dramatic fenestrations. Indoors, it can grow from 1 to 2 metres tall depending on space and light.
How To Care For Your Monstera Deliciosa
Light
Place your Monstera in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate medium light, but growth will be slower. Avoid strong direct sun because it can scorch the leaves.
Watering
Water when the top 4 to 5 cm of soil feel dry. Keep the soil lightly moist but never soggy. Overwatering can lead to yellowing leaves or root issues.
Soil
Use a chunky, well draining mix. A combination of indoor potting mix, perlite, orchid bark and coco coir works well to support healthy root growth.
Humidity and Temperature
Monstera Deliciosa prefers moderate to high humidity. Aim for above 50 percent if possible. Keep it away from direct draughts, heaters and air conditioning. Ideal temperatures range from 18 to 27 degrees.
Feeding
Feed every 4 to 6 weeks during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertiliser at half strength. Pause feeding during winter.
Packaging
Your Monstera Deliciosa arrives in Eco Friendly Pulp Nursery Pots made from biodegradable materials that help roots establish while keeping waste minimal and sustainable.
