Alocasia micholitziana ‘Frydek’
Alocasia micholitziana ‘Frydek’, also known as Green Velvet Alocasia, is admired for its deep green, velvety leaves contrasted by striking white veins. This elegant aroid makes a bold yet refined statement in any interior.
Light
Prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, as it may scorch the velvety leaves. Low light may slow growth and reduce leaf size.
Water
Keep the soil lightly moist but never waterlogged. Allow the top few centimetres of soil to dry out between watering. Reduce watering during cooler months.
Humidity
Thrives in high humidity. Performs best in bathrooms with natural light or when placed near a humidifier.
Temperature
Prefers warm temperatures between 18–28°C. Protect from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.
